Abstract

Quality Assurance (QA) has changed from the days of legacy QA, with organizations turning their focus to automation. There’s DevOps and DevSecOps being brought to the game. Industry is moving towards agile, which, from a QA perspective, is still fragile. Because there’s a lot of fragmentation and a shortened QA cycle. The industry is still evolving even as technology contributes to a rapid growth.

With the introduction of low-code platforms, there’s a temptation to shorten the development cycle. However, not doing enough QA is not a solution for shortening the QA cycle.

A Few Questions For Self:

1. Why should testing be done manually, why don’t we bring in tools?
2. Why should automation scripts be written from scratch, why don’t we create scripts within the lifecycle?
3. Why don’t we reuse the automation script for performance testing?
4. Why should we not do vulnerability assessment as part of every cycle and with the same automation script?
